Late week we explored Surface area. This week you will view a video on volume which will go over Surface Area and introduce Volume. Please pay attention as pertinent vocabulary will be discussed.

1. Student needs to first watch Math Antics Volume video Write pertinent vocabulary and geometric formulas down for future reference.

2. Calculate volume of pertinent shape. Please show all calculation

Mathia - student will complete two workspaces for the week. Previous workstations will not count. Student will complete > 90 min on Mathia prior to end of week.

1 Watch Khan Academy video Intro To Nets. Complete practice problems at end of tutorials. Screen shoot your practice problems to submit at end of week.. Complete attached task sheets Exploring Solid Figures and Three - Dimensional Figures


2. Mathia - Student will complete two lessons/ workspaces on Mathia. Time on Mathia should be > 90 min. Time will be monitored/check on Wed. for completion by Friday.
